As contestants gear up for the live performances, mentor will.i.am has taken a futuristic approach by enlisting AI assistance to coach his team.

Nonetheless, Rob Rinder was openly critical of the move.
When Kate queried: "I wonder if they were pleased? Do you think they were hoping he'd pull Beyonce in or something?"
Rob condemned: "It's a terrible idea! Absolutely awful."
A surprised Scarlette pressed Rob for his reasons behind such strong disapproval of integrating cutting-edge technology into the show.
He responded: "The appreciation of music is human, right? It's what binds us. The idea of bringing AI I think really devalues it."
Rob warned viewers that even the "godfather" of AI, Professor Geoffrey Hinton, has cautioned against the potential existential threat posed by technology.
He added: "Now we're ruining talent shows as well!"
Despite Rob's objections, Scarlette countered that AI could be beneficial, particularly in assessing contestants' pitch accuracy while singing.
Kate chimed in, seemingly in agreement but also intrigued, sharing: "Don't you think it's fascinating to see how AI offers a different approach? What if it is something that a human mentor hasn't done?"
Viewers of this weekend's episode of The Voice were surprised as will. i. am introduced his team to a guest mentor beyond the ordinary. He revealed that he'd enlisted an AI bot to assist with crucial decisions.
The shock was palpable among the singers as will. i.am announced: "I converse with Felicia pretty much every day."
Confessing to the camera, one contestant expressed their astonishment: "I was expecting a human!"
The Voice airs on Saturday from 8:20pm on ITV.
