Strictly Come Dancing is set to dazzle viewers on BBC One this weekend, with the contestants gearing up to tackle some of the most challenging Latin and Ballroom dances. Hot on the heels of a spectacular Movie Week, the stars are under pressure to outdo their previous performances.
In preparation for the upcoming live show, the BBC has unveiled the roster of songs and dances, yet one name was conspicuously absent from the list. Nick Knowles, who was sidelined during Movie Week due to an injury, remains off the lineup.
The network has kept details sparse, stating only: "We will update with more news on Nick when we have it."
Presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman extended their best wishes to Nick in the previous show as he withdrew from the competition.
A Strictly spokesperson had previously commented: "Unfortunately, Nick Knowles sustained an injury during rehearsals and as a result, will not dance this weekend. As per the rules of the competition, Nick and Luba will receive a bye through to next week when he is hopefully able to dance again."

The injured star was spotted nursing his knee while watching the Movie Week performances from the comfort of his home.

Concerns grew among fans as Nick remained silent on social media about his training for the upcoming week.
However, head judge Shirley Ballas reassured listeners on Virgin Radio UK with an optimistic update: "Apparently, he is possibly on the mend."
She added, "We are hoping that by the weekend he will be back because he is an asset to the show."
