ITV viewers “switched off” from the highly anticipated Boris Johnson interview after slamming “terrible” host Tom Bradby.
The former PM joined the network for an intimate sit-down chat to promote his new book, Unleashed.
But just minutes into the interview, fans took to social media in droves to slam both Johnson’s answers and criticise Bradby's interviewing technique.
“#ITV #Boris Had to turn off. Can't stand interviews where the interviewer doesn’t let the interviewee speak. What’s the point of inviting them on,” asked one livid fan.
“Tom Bradby is a terrible interviewer..why was he chosen to do this?…he hates Boris Johnson and will never be impartial! Plus he never lets anyone speak..shut up Tom!” penned a second.

A third dubbed Bradby “rubbish", penning: “No point asking a question without letting someone answer,” and “I’ve turned off for that reason, he’s passive aggressive and not letting him answer.”
Another raged: “Bradby keeps interrupting Boris and when Boris interrupts him, he gets mad and says 'Let me speak' Plus he’s spouting absolute nonsense and being so blatantly biased against him. He doesn’t know how to interview properly!”
Many viewers also slammed Johnson for his answers, dubbing it an “embarrassment to the nation” and calling his actions “beyond contempt”.
The fan spewed: “Boris Johnson, the interview. What an absolute embarrassment that 'man' is to this nation...trying to blame everyone else for his and his government’s actions. Absolutely beyond contempt.”

Others, however, praised the interview.
"Tom - YOU ARE BRILLIANT!" one fan gushed. A second said: "Great interview Tom, bring back Boris," and "Well done Tom… that was a brilliant interview."
A description of the controversial memoir states that "Johnson takes readers through all the big decisions during his time in power and why he took them."
It tackles how he nearly died from Covid, riots, crime, the London Olympics, and his controversial role in Brexit.
