Breakout star of Clarkson’s Farm Kaleb Cooper is getting his own spin-off show on Amazon Prime Video.
The young farming protege has shot to fame as the plucky and charming sidekick to Jeremy Clarkson on his hit farming reality show, Clarkson’s Farm.
After three series starring alongside Clarkson as well as Jeremy’s girlfriend Lisa Hogan, the dour Charlie Ireland and the inimitable (and unintelligible) Gerald Cooper, Kaleb is now breaking out with his own Amazon show which should help tide fans over until series 4 of Clarkson’s Farm.
Amazon Prime Video has announced a new show, The World According To Kaleb, will stream on Amazon Prime from November 29.
Amazon said: “Your favourite farmer parked his tractor and took to the stage. Watch The World According To Kaleb arriving on Prime Video on November 29th.”
The show will be a recording of one of Kaleb’s sell out stand-up stage shows from his recent national tour.
According to Kaleb’s tour promotion: “Fans can expect Kaleb’s strong views on many things – including sheep (‘stupid’), Jeremy Clarkson (f****** idiot’), goats (‘they’re a proper good clear-up animal – they eat everything – no wonder they taste horrible’), New York (‘if it’s like London where there are no tractors, that’s no good’), famous people, why farming is the best job in the world and, crucially, sartorial matters such as hairstyles – especially his own!
“Despite his surprise status as a household name, Kaleb is still the same down to earth, hard-working farmer, with his feet firmly on the ground. He will give audiences the chance to participate in some rather interesting rural pastimes during the show, as well as highlighting some of the many challenges that British farmers face today and perhaps share how we can all help to make a difference and support them.”
The breakout star of the popular Amazon Prime Video show, about life on Clarkson’s Cotswolds farm Diddly Squat, began his The World According To Kaleb tour in January and spent months circulating venues around the UK with his own brand of naive yet wise farming wit.
Clarkson was joined by his partner Lisa Hogan, co star Charlie Ireland and Gerald Cooper for a show at the Warwick Arts Centre on February 3 which was shot to be part of Clarkson’s Farm series 4, which is due out in 2025.
Kaleb said: “It was brilliant to have the guys come along from Diddly Squat. I’m so grateful to have had amazing audiences at my shows so far.
“This was even more special that they could join in the fun and see me spreading the farming joy – and also sharing how important our industry is. I can’t wait for the rest of this tour.”
Cooper has become a fan favourite on the show for his often-frustrating quest to teach Clarkson about farming as well as his amusing comments on life, the universe and everything in between.
