Netflix teases new season of Selling Sunset
Commission is a hot discussion topic on Selling Sunset, and it was brought up by The Oppenheim Group staff once more in season eight.
The Netflix realtors have the opportunity to earn thousands of dollars off the back of selling million-dollar listings, but which agent is making the most money?
The latest analysis from Agent Advice, one of the real estate industry’s top resources, has revealed which of the Netflix show’s stars have potentially banked the most following this season’s listings.
As it turns out, while some stars might be raking in millions in commission, others are coming away with nothing at all.
Here is a full breakdown of what all the agents could be earning.
Amanza Smith – $0 potential commission
According to the analysis, Amanza hasn’t made a penny from commission during season 8.
The star had just one listing with a potential commission of $173k, but as the seller backed out, she came away with nothing.
Alanna Gold – $489k potential commission
Alanna made waves when she joined The Oppenheim Group this season, showing a lot of potential but not closing any sales on camera.
However, she does have some listings that could earn her some money, meaning she could still walk away with a lot of doe.
The star currently has three properties up for sale with a combined commission of $489k, though one house’s price is yet to be determined.
Nicole Young – $540k potential commission
While Nicole also didn’t close any deals this season, she did bag a major listing that would make millions of dollars for the brokerage.
She is trying to sell a $18million home and, if she succeeds, she will earn $540k in potential commission.

Chelsea Lazkani – $732k potential commission
Chelsea is yet another agent who didn’t sell anything during season eight, but she’s got plenty of properties on the go.
She is currently trying to sell three different properties, the most expensive being the $30million listing she’s sharing with Mary.
Even with the split commission, she would still bank a good portion of the $897k.
Mary Bonnet – $876k potential commission
Like Chelsea, Mary is also waiting on her commission from their joint $30 million listing.
She also has plenty of other properties on the books, including a $28.5 million listing for a property in LA, which she’s sharing with Jason Oppenheimer.
Chrishell Stause – $79k commission earned ($281k more potential)
Chrishell is the first person on this list to have actually sold a house this season, earning $79k on her $2.6million listing that was previously introduced on the show.
She also has another property worth a potential $281k commission and has a couple of other impressive properties on her radar that are yet to be priced.
Bre Tiesi – $105k commission earned ($359k more potential)
While Bre might not have always been happy about the agents’ commissions this season, she’s actually one of the top earners on this list.
She managed to sell a $3.5million home which gave her around just over $100k in commission and also has another three houses on the books, which could earn her a potential $359k.
Jason Oppenheim – $1.2million commission earned ($787k more potential)
Naturally, founder and boss Jason is earning the best commission, having sold an impressive three houses during season 8, the highest of which fetched for $28 million.
He secured $1.2million in commission this season and also has an additional two listings on the books, which could earn him an extra $787k.
