Emily in Paris season four part one official trailer

Emily in Paris is returning to Netflix with another five episodes after it was announced the fourth season would be split into two parts. The first half of season four saw the love triangle be reinstated between Emily Cooper (played by Lily Collins), Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Camille (Camille Razat).

Camille once again started to become envious of Gabriel and Emily's blossoming romance after her relationship with Sofia Sideris (Melia Kreiling) collapsed. She later discovered her pregnancy test was a false positive and she had in fact missed her period due to stress.

She is yet to break the news to Gabriel, who is over the moon at the prospect of becoming a father. Viewers are waiting to find out how long it takes for the truth to come out.

The second half of the season is set at Christmas and Emily is experiencing her first winter abroad. Creator Darren Star told Tudum: "I always wanted to do a Christmas episode for Emily in Paris, and I wanted to film in the winter.”

"It wasn’t the most pleasant experience filming in Paris all winter. It rained every day, but I also wanted to go into the Alps in France. And part of what I love doing in the series is exploring different parts of France, getting out of Paris." Here's all you need to know about what time the episodes will drop.

The second half of season four arrives on Netflix on September 12, with all five episodes dropping at the same time.

For fans in the US, Netflix usually releases new content at midnight on the date of release, but fans in the UK will have to wait until 8am to watch the episodes.

This will be an easy binge for viewers with only half of the season left to watch - but is there more to come?

Netflix is yet to officially renew the series for a fifth season, but it has not been ruled out yet.

Actress Lily previously opened up about how splitting season four into two parts impacted the cast.

In an August 2024 interview with Deadline, she said the cast and crew "filmed a couple of episodes out of order because we filmed this year in a fall, winter season," another first for the series.

She continued: "We got to go to the mountains and have snow, and we needed to make sure that we had the best snowfall.

"So certain episodes that are in the second drop, we ended up filming before the end of the first drop."

She said the production schedule made things complicated as the cast did not know how the season was going to end at the time.
