BBC EastEnders favourite homeless and kicked out after dramatic family fallout

In a heart-wrenching twist, an EastEnders star will find herself homeless and without any support next week.

Since her introduction to the show last year alongside the rest of the Knight family, Gina (Francesca Henry) has been at the centre of numerous significant plotlines.

Her personal struggles with substance abuse and her family's unfolding secrets have ensured that Gina's stint in Walford has been anything but dull. Next week, however, the drama intensifies for Gina.

As Dean Wicks' (played by Matt Di Angelo) trial unfolds, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) succumbs to alcohol once again. In Tuesday's episode (August 13), Gina promises Johnny she will take care of Linda.

However, when Johnny returns, a fierce argument ensues between him and Linda. After calming down, Johnny comes home to discover Linda in a critical condition.

Paramedics are called to The Vic to attend to Linda.

At the hospital, a distraught Johnny blames Gina for Linda's predicament and demands she leave their home.

Meanwhile, Gina's half-brother Junior (Micah Balfour) invites their mother Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) over for a late-night glass of wine. As viewers may remember, the two are engaged in a secret affair.

Cindy dresses up and makes excuses to visit Junior. However, in the meantime, Gina shows up at Junior's doorstep, asking if she can move in.

He's taken aback by the request and fears that Cindy might show up, so he disappoints Gina by turning her down - leaving her devastated.

Just last month, Francesca Henry, who plays Gina, expressed her delight over her stint on the BBC soap to Radio Times: "It's been honestly the privilege of a lifetime."

"I've watched the show since I was a little girl and to be in the pub with the most incredible people and the best actors has been like... you can't top it," she added.
