Dermot makes fun of Rochelle and Christine's outfit choices
Christine Lampard, the stand-in host for ITV's Lorraine, was left blushing when she linked up with This Morning's Dermot O'Leary and Rochelle Humes, only to find they had all committed a fashion faux pas live on-air.
While filling in for Lorraine Kelly, who is enjoying a well-deserved summer break, Christine Lampard found herself at the helm of Tuesday's Lorraine show. The 45 year old presenter engaged with various guests, delving into hot topics ranging from the latest Love Island victors to whispers about the potential Strictly Come Dancing line-up.
As the programme neared its conclusion, Christine connected with Rochelle and Dermot via video call to tease what was coming up on This Morning. However, the atmosphere took a turn for the awkward as Dermot couldn't resist commenting on their matching attire.
Both presenters were sporting light yellow and blue striped tops, prompting Christine to jovially remark: "Rochelle and Dermot are here at 10 this morning. Good Morning you two, it's so nice to see you."
Dermot, momentarily lost for words, gestured towards the tops worn by Rochelle and Christine. An amused Rochelle exclaimed: "Oh my God, look at us Christine," reports the Mirror.

To which Dermot interjected with a puzzled "What?"
Christine laughed off the coincidence: "We're working aren't we and I didn't even realise but that's what happens."
Rochelle chimed in with: "We're giving our best this morning."

And Dermot concluded: "It's a stripy day and a wonderful vibe."
Viewers of the ITV show have been vocal in their desire for Christine to be given a permanent presenting role. With Lorraine Kelly taking a summer hiatus, Christine, along with co-stars Ranvir Singh and Louise Minchin, has been keeping things running smoothly.
However, fans are now demanding that Christine's efforts be acknowledged more formally. One viewer took to X, the platform replacing Twitter, to share their thoughts: "Lovely woman Christine should be renamed this show and get rid of that Kelly!"
Another agreed, suggesting: "TBH they might as well rename it Christine for as long as she's presenting! Imagine the opening credits.."
A third viewer chimed in: "I enjoy #Lorraine more when Christine hosts the show. She's more natural and comes across more genuine."
