Emmerdale: Kim Tate drops Ruby in it with Caleb
Emmerdale could be set to mark an ITV soap “first” as Kim Tate gets involved in a steamy menage a trois alongside her husband Will Taylor.
Tensions have been rising in the village as Will’s ex Rose continues to thwart Kim’s attempts at a happy home life – setting her up to look as though she’s the one who spiked stepdaughter Dawn Fletcher. Rose even convinced a drug dealer to show up at the house and frame Kim.
Kim was forced to move into the B&B to keep Evan safe from germs that would come with Billy and Dawn leaving, fuming that Will believed his ex-wife rather than the Home Farm owner.
But eagle-eyed viewers think all that tension could be simmering into something a lot more passionate, and raced to share their thoughts on social media – hinting that the trio could call off their feud and jump into bed with each other instead.
One X user said: “I'm calling it now, we're gonna see Kim, Rose and Will sleeping together before we know it... Emmerdale's first menage a trois hahaha, maybe Ruby will get involved.”
While someone else theorised: “#Emmerdale’s first threesome is deffo gonna be Will, Rose and Kim… unless they’ve done it before but I don’t think so.”
In fact, the closest the ITV soap got to airing a threesome involved Eric Pollard, Faith Dingle and Brenda Walker back in 2021, when Mackenzie Boyd walked in on what sounded like Faith and Brenda sharing a passionate embrace – moans included.
Brenda could be heard shouting: “That’s it! Oh yes, that’s amazing!” – but it was just Faith massaging Brenda’s back after she hurt it hauling boxes after helping Faith move into the house she shares with Eric. Eric later confused matters more by telling Mack: “As soon as you arrived, you should have got stuck in.”

He added: “Yes, if I was a little younger, I wouldn't need your help. But I've got to be careful of my ticker these days. Two minutes in and I start to struggle! Brenda needs better you know, she gets a little annoyed. All I do is stand back and watch!"
Chas later asked straight out: “Eric, I don't quite know how to put this, so I'm just going to come out with it... are you having threesomes with my mum?" and Eric fumed: “No, I am not doing anything with Brenda and Faith! I've never heard such rubbish in all my life!"
