Emmerdale: Kim Tate drops Ruby in it with Caleb
Emmerdale fans have been left ecstatic after Kim Tate (Claire King) planned a new revenge plot on Monday (July 22) as her 'old character returned'. In recent episodes of the ITV soap, Kim has appeared to be more subdued as her no-nonsense attitude has seemingly vanished.
She has been slowly isolating herself away from her family after Rose Jackson (Christine Tremarco) showed up in the village as the estranged ex-wife of Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and mother of Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley).
Rose has been working with Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) to bring down Kim.
However, their plan came to a head when Rose attempted to drug Will, but the drinks got muddled up and Dawn ended up getting spiked, which resulted in a serious car accident.
Kim has since taken the blame for the spiking and during the latest trip to the village, she issued a stern warning to those responsible as her fierce personality returned.
Moving out of her grand home, Kim later met up with her cleaner Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) who told her how she had overheard Rose on the baby monitor talking about the spiking. She also confessed that Rose was after Will once more.
Instead of getting angry, Kim decided to find out who was responsible for Rose's antics. She then warned: "They are going to regret it."
She then added: "But for now we keep our friends close and our enemies closer", as she plotted her revenge.
Emmerdale fans were overjoyed to see Kim's dark behavior return, and taking to X, one Emmerdale fan wrote: "Ladies and gentlemen bow down to Queen Kim.... Will, Dismal Dawnn and Rose when they get thrown out of Home Farm."
A second stated: "All Hail Queen Kim Tate #emmerdale #claireking #queenofthedales", while a third chimed in: "It is kims house!!! Dawn and Rose and drippy Will can get in the bin.
I can't wait for a classic Kim takedown......#emmerdale."
"Queen Kim is always so smart #Emmerdale", added one viewer. "I hope we finally get to see the old Kim Tate #emmerdale", echoed another.
One fan questioned: "Ooooh I like the sound of that. Is the old Kim going to come back? #Emmerdale."
