James Martin fans took to social media to share their complaints about the repeat episode of Saturday Morning which aired on ITV. The TV chef, 52, welcomed comedian Dom Joly as his guest, as well as Formula One star Karun Chandhok and chefs Atul Kochhar and Sabrina Gidda.

Dom, 56, appeared on the food show to discuss his book, The Conspiracy Tourist, which details the Trigger Happy TV star's experience meeting conspiracy theorists around the world.

However, viewers were left divided over the episode, with one even branding it "unwatchable".

One Twitter/X user moaned: "Saturday morning, my good lady wife's taken the grandsprog shopping, I can sit back in peace and quiet with a pint of coffee and watch @sat_jamesmartin on the box. It's a repeat but no worries. Turn it on, and the guest is Dom Jolly, the only unwatchable episode ever made."

Another replied: "I never found Dom funny even in his 'peak' time when he had a giant mobile phone and he screamed into it."

A third criticised: "Oh joy! Today's repeat of @sat_jamesmartin is the one with Covid crank, vaccine pusher-in-Chief and Bill Gates's number one fan, @domjoly, promoting his book about conspiracy theories and still dining out (literally in this instance) on memories of 'Trigger Happy TV'."

Nevertheless, some were complimentary about the episode. Another user wrote: "Dom Joly joshing with James Martin on ITV. Two highly beloved individuals with long lines of people prepared to share stories of just what nice blokes they are in real life."
