APITS: Guest gets emotional after viewing house
It seemed as though A Place in the Sun star Sara Damergi exceeded expectations on the Channel 4 show. During Thursday’s repeated episode, viewers saw Jules and Gaynor find their rural dream home.
However, the duo had some specific requirements as they needed a large area of land for their dog and pet alpacas.
With a maximum budget of £300,000, Sara had her work cut out for her as the pair wanted to start their own gite business.
During the search, things got emotional when the Channel 4 star showed them the third property on their search. The three-bedroom home in Massignac blew Gaynor away before even stepping foot inside.
Informing them that the home possessed 11 acres of land, Gaynor said: “God, I’m going to cry! I can’t believe it.”
Although they believed the home was out of their price range, there was good news for the duo as she revealed it was on the market for just over £273,000.
After learning that it was within their budget, Gaynor asked: “Where do we sign?!”
However, her partner seemed set on the previous property they viewed as he highlighted to Gaynor they hadn’t seen the inside.
The emotions didn’t stop once they were exploring the home as the second they entered the living space, Gaynor was overwhelmed.

Laughing, she said: “I can’t speak! There’s nothing to do here is there? It’s just beautiful, absolutely beautiful, the space is amazing.
“The decor is amazing, there isn’t anything to do with the place. I just love the kitchen, this is the one for me.”
Although Jules told Sara he needed to see the rest of the home before making a final judgement.
The home seemed to win Jules over and the pair decided to put in an offer when meeting up with Sara at the end of the show.
Speaking about their decision, Gaynor said: “I think you’ve done really well but we’ve just been blown away by property that we’ve fallen in love with.
“I had an immediate emotional reaction to that property and I just knew and Jules just needed to catch up!”
After some negotiations, they managed to get their dream home for £260,000.
