Cat Deeley interviews Rishi Sunak on This Morning
"So talking of your family's future, your specific family's future, if you stay at number 10, will you have that same kind of work balance that Keir Starmer has been talking about - work and family life balance
"Because you were very positive about what he was saying first of all about that. And then lately, the parties criticised him for not working at six o'clock," she probed.
Co-host Ben then jumped in citing Mr Sunak's appearance on the Nick Ferrari show on LBC radio where he praised Mr Starmer's work life balance.
However he then pointed out that after Mr Starmer said he tries to stop work by six o'clock the Conservatives slammed him saying he would be a part time part time Prime Minister.
Ben drew particular attention to Mr Starmer's reference to Friday night dinner after he said it was important in his family. He put it to Mr Sunak that Friday night dinner was a hugely important tradition for the Jewish community.

"Well, I think what case I was saying he was with his kids on a Friday night out watching cheerleading or kickboxing rather than doing that [dinner]," Mr Sunak responded. But the point is, everyone's going to do this job in a different way so I can only speak from my own experience over the past 18 months, and the reality is there's always work to do.
"There's always decisions that need to be made, and ultimately, that's what the job demands, because it's a great responsibility to be Prime Minister, and that's what public service is about.
"Public Service entails sacrifice, and that's why we respect people who are in public service. And...one of the things I've spoken about a lot is that doing this job means I'm not as good as dad, I'm not as good a husband as I would love to be.
"And that comes in the territory of being in public service and having the responsibility to be Prime Minister, to do a great job for everyone who's watching. And that's what I do. I work," he insisted.
This Morning is on ITV weekdays at 10am.
