Eamonn Holmes seems to leave GB News set live on air
Eamonn Holmes made a surprise return to GB News on Wednesday morning, but his usual co-host Isabel Webster was noticeably absent. Instead, Ellie Costello joined Eamonn in presenting the show.
The reason behind Eamonn's abrupt departure from the show mid-broadcast has not been publicly addressed by him yet. However, a spokesperson confirmed to Express.co.uk that the TV presenter had "fallen ill".
They stated: "Eamonn had to finish earlier today as he was feeling unwell. He hopes to be back tomorrow."
During an interview with Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Mental Health Maria Caulfield, the former This Morning star left the GB News desk offscreen around 7:45am.
Isabel, aged 41, took over and presented the final 90 minutes of their show alone, without providing any explanation for Eamonn's sudden disappearance, reports the Mirror.
On Wednesday's episode, Eamonn, who typically works from Monday to Wednesday, informed viewers that he would be working on Friday.

He also confirmed that his co-host Isabel would be returning to present alongside him.
Following Eamonn's unexpected absence from GB News on Tuesday, fans flocked to social media to question his whereabouts and express concern for his wellbeing.
"@GBNEWS where's @EamonnHolmes gone? No explanation?" one fan asked while another exclaimed: "He has just disappeared. Maybe he is unwell."
Another person asked: "@IsabelWebster_ What happened to @EamonnHolmes today! One minute he was presenting, the next he just vanished. Hope he's okay."

A concerned viewer echoed: "@EamonnHolmes are you ok? You keep disappearing xx I worry xxxxx." (sic)
Eamonn candidly shared his health struggles during last week's TRIC Awards, his first public outing since the split from Ruth Langsford.
He admitted feeling like he was on "borrowed time" and openly confessed to the crowd: "I'm not OK. This is not a good time at all".
Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel airs Monday to Wednesday at 6am on GB News.
