BBC Breakfast: Keir Starmer clashes with Naga Munchetty
Naga Munchetty put Keir Starmer in his place during his BBC Breakfast appearance on Friday morning.
The labour leader joined the sofa for an interview with hosts Naga and Charlie Stayt as he continues his bid to win votes ahead of the 2024c general election.
And it certainly didn't take long for things to get heated when the subject of the economy propped up.
Naga began: "A phrase that has been said time and time again - and I dare you to not say it in the next seven minutes we have you - fully funded fully costed-"
Before Naga could finish her point, Keir asked: "Why shouldn't we say that," as the BBC host clapped back: "I'll tell you why."
Naga went on to explain her point: "I think is fundamentally what's happening is Institute for Fiscal Studies come out and say there is a conspiracy of silence leaving -" before Keir cut in again.
"Let me finish," Naga fumed, as she attempted for a third time to get her point across.
"... Leaving voters guessing and casting ballots in a knowledge vacuum and they've spoken about a trilemma, basically they say whether you say it's fully funded and fully costed.
"There are facts that with the spending that needs to be done despite you saying we can pay for it by this, pay for it by that to pay for everything you will either have to borrow taxes will have to go up or public services will have to be cut," Naga asserted.

Keir then defended his manifesto, responding: "Many of the assumptions that have been made by the AFS and others are on the basis that growth will stay broadly where it is now.
"I don't accept that," he admitted before Naga added: "In the first year or two of parliament - if you get in - growth will not double."
In response to Naga's claim, Keir said: "I think we could start on growth straightaway, we've been talking to global investors for two years as you'd expect. I've never wanted to get ahead in terms of winning every boat into this."
The subject then changed to how Keir and the Labour Party would handle the issue of immigration if they were to be successful in the upcoming election as Naga and Charlie ripped into his plans.
