Douglas Is Cancelled is gearing up to begin on ITV and is filled to the brim with memorable faces.
The four-part comedy drama centres around a national treasure news presenter who finds himself at the heart of a cancel culture frenzy after telling a sexist joke at a wedding.
With the show making its debut on Thursday, June 27, here’s everything there is to know about the cast of Douglas Is Cancelled.
Who stars in Douglas Is Cancelled on ITV?
Douglas Bellowes - Hugh Bonneville
Douglas Bellowes is at the centre of the media storm following his ill-advised joke going public.
He tries to follow guidance from those around him but can he trust everyone that appears to be on his side?
Taking on the role of the titular character is actor Hugh Bonneville who is globally known for playing the Earl of Grantham in the series and film franchise Downton Abbey.
Bar the period drama, Bonneville can be recognised from Notting Hill, W1A, The Gold, The Monuments and the Paddington films.

Madeline - Karen Gillan
Madeline is Douglas’ younger television co-presenter who acts as if they are a team in front of him but is clearly playing games from the beginning.
Not only is she more social media savvy than Douglas, she is also determined to further her career at any means necessary.
Actress Karen Gillan was behind Amy Pond, the main companion of the 11th Doctor Who portrayed by Matt Smith during his time on the BBC sci-fi drama.
Some of her other credits include Jumanji, Sleeping Dogs, X, Oculus, Late Bloomers and as Nebula in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Sheila - Alex Kingston
A fellow Doctor Who alum is actress Alex Kingston who also featured during Matt Smith’s time in the series as River Song.
She also starred opposite Daniel Craig in ITV’s The Fortunes And Misfortunes of Moll Flanders and joined the cast of long-running medical drama ER in the US.
Kingston plays Sheila, Douglas’ wife in Douglas Is Cancelled.

Actor Ben Miles was behind Princess Margaret’s first love Peter Townsend in the iconic Netflix drama The Crown.
He has also been in Dracula, Coupling, The Capture and The Trial Of Christine Keller.
Morgan - Nick Mohammed
Actor and comedian Nick Mohammed will be recognised for Peggie Perrin, Ted Lasso, Disney+’s Renegade Nell and Sky’s Intelligence which he is also the creator of.
Mohammed’s character Morgan works behind the scenes of the show as a television joke writer.

In terms of his television work, Beale has been in House Of The Dragon, Penny Dreadful and Spooks but so far, little to no details have come out about his Douglas Is Cancelled character Bentley.
