Lorraine fans were distracted over James Martin's appearance on the ITV programme. The chef, 51, spoke to the presenter on Monday's edition (April 15) of Lorraine as he opened up about 18 years of being on Saturday Kitchen and his upcoming tour.
James was certainly dressed the part, sporting a blue waistcoat and a grey tie. He also donned a flat cap which Lorraine admitted to "loving".
The BBC star responded: "This is the first time I've worn a hat on TV. The guys out the back said to wear it." He added: "All I need is a twig and a whippet and I'll be a tight cast."

But viewers had other things to say on the look as they took to social media to share their thoughts. "Bloody Hell, what has James Martin come as..." asked one fan.
Another fumed: "Oh dear - take your hat off indoors! Rude."A third said: "Flat cap on Monday nothing television?? Who dressed James Martin today?"
Someone else declared: "James Martin on @lorraine looks like he’s dressed from Mary Poppins. He’s channeling Dick Van Dyke."
It comes after James stepped out with his new girlfriend Kim Johnson over the weekend. The presenter was joined by the personal trainer as they went for a stroll in London on Saturday (April 13).

Kim is the ex-wife of businessman Arun Nayar, who was married to actress Elizabeth Hurley from 2007 to 2011. Their public appearance comes four months after his 12-year relationship with Louise Davies came to an end.
