Coronation Street: Adam exposes lying pregnant wife Sarah at gender reveal party
There could be trouble in paradise for Coronation Street’s Gary Windass (played by Mikey North) and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) in upcoming scenes. Official spoilers for the ITV soap reveal their relationship is on the rocks as she continues to worry about her son’s mental health.
As Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) tells them he’s ready to return to school, Gary seems thrilled, but Maria is having none of it. While Maria reminds Gary he’s not Liam’s real dad, it’s clear her words have struck a nerve.
While on the street, he bumps into Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) who is going through her own relationship woes as she waits to hear about Damon Hay’s (Ciaran Griffiths) sentencing. As the two have a chat, Gary invites her back to the flat.
Both sharing their problems with one another over a glass of wine, Maria checks her secret camera app and is confused to see Sarah in her home. Turning up the volume, she’s gutted to hear every word they’re saying.
However, things take a turn when Sarah gets a call from Dee Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown), revealing Damon has been sentenced to serve six years in prison. Heartbroken, she breaks down in tears as Gary takes her into his arms.
However, it seems as though Sarah took his kind gesture as something more, unaware that Maria could potentially be watching the whole thing.
In scenes set to air next week, Gary eyes Maria’s phone and wishes he could delete the camera footage, not sure if she’s seen what happened.
On the street, Sarah is quick to apologise to Gary for making a drunken pass at him.
However, when she learns that Maria has a hidden camera in their flat, she’s horrified.

Later on, Gary is showing a valuer around the Underworld factory as Sarah decides to have a quick word with him.
Worried about the camera footage from the other night, Gary assures her that he’ll manage to delete it.
Will Gary be able to delete the footage before Maria watches it? Or has she already seen Sarah try to get with her husband?
Coronation Street fans will know that Gary and Sarah were once together before he married Maria a few years ago.
The duo became quite serious as they moved in with one another and got engaged.
However, she decided to call it a day on their relationship before she started seeing Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson).
Speaking about Sarah’s relationship with Gary in the past, soap star Tina O’Brien said: “I think that Gary has possibly been the biggest rock in Sarah’s life.
"He knows her in a way that nobody else does, he knows all her bad bits and he loved her anyway.”
Could there be a rekindled romance on the horizon?
