Eamonn Holmes felt the impact of Storm Kathleen and said he is currently stranded at the airport.
The broadcaster, who fronts the Breakfast Show on GB News, said he may have to miss the show after being stuck in Glasgow for hours.
Taking to Instagram today, Eamonn, 64, shared a selfie while in the airport which he captioned: "Huge winds playing havoc with flights today. Not sure you’ll be seeing me on @GBNews Breakfast tomorrow the way things are going? Been in Glasgow airport since 11am."
The presenter was swiftly inundated with messages of concern as one person wrote: "Ooh take care safe travels."
Another echoed: "Oh, I hope you do make it! Keep safe though!"
In a follow-up post, Eamonn took to X, formerly Twitter, and complained he would be missing the football as a result of the flight delays.
He told his 1.1 million followers: "Winds playing havoc with Flights today. 8 hour delay so far. Have missed #ManUtd v Liverpool and may miss work tomorrow morning on @GBNEWS. Been a long day."
Social media users flocked to comment on the tweet, as one said: "Yeah the wind is nuts here! Sending good vibes and blessings that you get to relax this evening (with a Utd victory!!) and a safe flight back!!"
Another added: "Stay safe Eamonn."
