Emmerdale's Rishi dead at bottom of the stairs
Bhasker Patel who played Rishi Sharma for 12 years on Emmerdale looks completely different in a recent snap. The 68-year-old ITV star was written out of the soap last year following a gruesome storyline.
Rishi was found dead at the bottom of the stairs in his home, and it is believed he had slipped and fallen and died. However, his brother Amit Sharma (Anil Goutam) was there when he died and there has been a lot of speculation now surrounding his character.
Since his exit, the actor decided to grow a long grey beard. He was spotted posing for a snap with co-star Liam Fox, who plays Dan Spencer. Liam, 53, shared the sweet post to his 7,000 Instagram followers.
Liam is starring in the theatre production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang as Grandpa Potts. He admitted that while he was in town, Bhasker was "looking after" him.
The actor was staying in London for rehearsals as the show got underway. He penned: "First day of rehearsals for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on Tour tomorrow, being looked after in London for the duration by my mucka Bhasker Patel."
He added: “Can’t wait to start and catch up with Jenny Gayner the pigeon lady! Exciting times ahead," along with a row of heart emojis.
This sent Emmerdale fans into meltdown as they were delighted by their reunion.
Fans jumped to the comments section of the post with one saying: "Love the picture of U both & good luck for the tour & can't wait for U 2 return 2 Emmerdale as Dan”.
"Wow that is a brilliant and terrific photo of you and Bhasker Patel there mate. Nice," a second person said.
A third penned "Break a leg mate!” as they wished Liam well in the production.

Bhasker left fans distraught when it was announced he would be leaving the show that he had appeared on for over a decade.
The beloved character was killed off in emotional scenes – after it was presumed he had just suffered a heart attack.
Sadly, the injuries he sustained confirmed his death. In intense scenes, his son Jai (Chris Bisson) found him the following day.
However, Rishi was not alone when he died as brother Amit was at Holdgate Farm on the day of his passing.
Jai and Suni Sharma (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana) became suspicious upon finding this out, yet Amit managed to convince them he had nothing to do with Rishi's death.
