Corrie: Max and Daniel argue about Lauren
Coronation Street saw the exit of Dylan Wilson (played by Liam McCheyne) on Wednesday after the charges against him were dropped in court. As the episode came to a close, Dylan drove off in a taxi with his mum Violet (Jenny Platt), leaving his dad Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) heartbroken.
The episode also saw more trouble for Roy Cropper (David Neilson) after he was questioned once again by the police over the disappearance of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). Despite protesting his innocence, the cafe owner is the police's main suspect as they try to find out what happened to the youngster.
Roy was also targeted by trolls, who filmed him at the vigil held for Lauren, before editing it and posting it online. The video edit saw Roy talking about Lauren and what she meant to him.
Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) also got suspended from the school after they found out he'd been interviewed by the police over Lauren, and he seems to think Max (Paddy Bever) is the reason behind it all.
Taking to X following the hour-long soap, fans shared their own thoughts and theories about what happened to Lauren - and whether she is alive or not. Many seem to think Max knows where Lauren is, but is the youngster hiding a dark secret?
"Imagine if Max has Lauren locked up somewhere?" one fan suggested.
Another said: "The sooner Lauren turns up dead or alive the better #Corrie."
While a third theorised: "My theory is Lauren was attacked in flat by a guy from the sex channel she's on. Max's girlfriend found her in the flat and is hiding her as she's scared. Max's GF hasn't been seen on screen for ages. #corrie." sic)
"Maybe it’s Max. He’s doing too much," another said as a fifth went on: "Should start looking at Max, he's accusing everyone else. #corrie."

"Max is defo up to something #Corrie," one fan said while another replied: "Bobby as his accomplice."
"Gawd he's a hateful little b*****d Max...She's not dead ..," someone else said.
As the episode came to a close, Roy watched the video online and gasped: "This completely misrepresents what I said."
In the clip, Roy could be seen describing Lauren as a "beautiful girl" while a troll added "creepy Cropper".
Could this land Roy in more trouble with the police and could he end up being charged?
