Alan Titchmarsh's Love Your Garden: Couple's reaction to transformation

Gardening expert is set to star in a brand new show from next week. Throughout the 10-part series, viewers will see Alan and a dynamic crew of specialists offer advice and tips to budding horticulturalists.

Alan Titchmarsh’s Gardening Club, which begins on March 4 at 2pm, will delve into some of the most innovative and visually stunning gardens across the country.

Shining a light on some of the latest trends in the gardening world, people will get advice regardless of their experience level.

Speaking about the upcoming show, the 74-year-old told Televisual: “I’m really pleased to be able to present a programme designed to appeal to anyone who is keen to make a patch of earth, a balcony or even a doorstep into something they find enriching and which will encourage wildlife.

“Gardening means so much to me and I’m keen that my enthusiasm should rub off on every viewer – whether new to gardening or an old hand.

“Growing things is good for the soul and good for the planet, and Alan Titchmarsh’s Gardening Club will celebrate all that is good about the earth.”

Although Alan won’t be alone in the 10-part series as he’ll have an expert team alongside him.

Joining the gardening pro will be David Domoney, horticulturist Camilla Bassett-Smith and community gardener Tayshan Hayden-Smith.

Also in the episode are eco-friendly gardener Anna Greenland and houseplant expert Sarah Gerrard-Jones.

In the first episode of the show, viewers will see David explain how people are able to attract more birds into their outdoor space.

Camilla will learn some incredible grow-your-own tips when visiting an innovative Somerset haven.

Visiting a different landscape, Tayshan Hayden-Smith gets stuck into an inner-city community garden project.

Meanwhile, houseplant expert Sarah Gerrard-Jones will unveil the secret to crafting an indoor oasis.

Assistant Commissioner for ITV Entertainment and Daytime Leanne Clarke touched on the broadcaster's excitement for the upcoming show.

She said: “I am delighted to be embarking on this new adventure with Alan as we explore a diverse range of exciting and innovative gardens as part of an ITV Daytime first.

“A touch of gardening feels perfect as we approach the start of Spring.”

Alan Titchmarsh's Gardening Club airs next Monday on March 4 on ITV from 2pm.
