Adam Thomas' Strictly rehearsal watched by fellow dancers to help conquer his nerves

Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzim sent Strictly Come Dancing fans wild as they made history during Week Four of the BBC competition.

The duo took on a Cha Cha Cha to Million Dollar Bill by Whitney Houston and it impressed the judges and viewers alike.

Following their sultry routine they scored an amazing 37 points out of a potential 40.

Judge Motsi Mabuse awarded the pair a 10 while Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke and Craig Revel Horwood handed out nines.

Following their dance, host Claudia Winkleman confirmed they had made history by getting a 10 for a Cha Cha Cha in Week Four.

Kathryn added: "Layton SLAYED as per usual. 10s deserved #Strictly."

Magso said: "What I love about Nikita and Layton is that they absolutely shine when dancing together. #strictly."

Lauren wrote: "Nikita and Layton to win!!!!!! my absolute faves should get all 10s."

Nigel Harman is the one to beat, according to the bookies. His odds are at 7/4, with Bobby Brazier close behind at 3/1, while Amanda Abbington (5/1), Angela Scanlon (5/1) and Ellie Leach (6/1) are closely behind.

Meanwhile, Jody Cundy has the unwanted position of frontrunner for the boot this weekend, at 8/11, with Zara McDermott a close second at 7/2.

Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: "Nigel Harman has headed the betting for a couple of weeks now, but they're queuing up behind him, with Amanda Abbington being the most recent market mover for this year's Glitterball Trophy."

He added: "It could well be curtains for Cundy, though, if the latest odds are anything to go by... we're fully expecting a dance-off between Jody and Zara this weekend."

Zara was in the dance-off last weekend after failing to impress the judges, but she avoided being sent packing in the end. Instead, Nikita Kanda was eliminated.

Strictly Come Dancing continues next Saturday at 6.30pm after tomorrow's results show on BBC One.
