Liam Gallagher has denied rumours that there will be a documentary about the upcoming Oasis 2025 reunion tour.
The Britpop heroes first announced their long-awaited reunion back in August, with a tour of the UK and Ireland. Later, they confirmed their return to North America as well as a string of shows in Australia, which will take place in late October and early November and has since been extended twice due to “phenomenal demand”.
Since the announcement, there have been reports that a documentary is in the works to chronicle their journey to their return and the colossal gigs.
According to The Sun, earlier this year AppleTV+ bosses were reportedly “proposing huge money” to acquire the rights to a film similar to the Beatles Get Back, which showed the making of the iconic band s 1970 album ˜Let It Be .
However, Liam Gallagher has now refuted these claims, saying if there is a documentary: “I’m not gonna be in it anyway.”
Responding to a fan on Twitter/X this morning (October 18) who asked how filming was going, Liam wrote: “We re not doing 1 I m not gonna be in it anyway I m doing the gigs there s been enough said about this band it s time to get Rocking and Rolling not yapping and scrapping.”
Then, replying to another fan who said there’s “no need” for interviews about the reunion, Liam wrote: “Exactly we ve been over this bollox a million times and some people have different versions to others we re back and that s all that matters to me and should donto the REAL fans of the band.”

Oasis were previously the subject of the 2016 documentary Oasis: Supersonic, which charted their roots and rise to music superstardom. NME praised it in a five-star review as rousing, heart-rending and really fucking funny .

The announcement of the international tour dates came after NME exclusively revealed that Oasis would be playing in Sydney and Melbourne last month.
Sources close to the band and tour also told NME in the report that further international dates are set to be announced for cities including Seoul (South Korea), Tokyo (Japan), São Paulo (Brazil), Santiago (Chile) and Buenos Aires (Argentina).
The band previously confirmed that their 2025 UK and Ireland dates would be the only European shows of their comeback tour. They later told fans that plans were underway for further performances around the globe.
Oasis have ruled out a headline performance at Glastonbury 2025 and said they won t be appearing at any other festivals next summer. Liam and Noel have shot down rumours of a return to Knebworth in 2026 too.
Ahead of the comeback gigs, fans have been speculating over who will be the opening acts, with Liam Gallagher saying he was seeking established acts to appear on the bill.
Cage The Elephant are set to join the line-up for the North American leg, and earlier this week it was reported that the support for the UK and Ireland concerts will come from the former Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft and Cast. The latter group recently opened for Liam on his ˜Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary tour.
In other news, Liam has said that he and Noel have no plans to do any interviews together, told fans that a new Oasis album was already finished , and took aim at the recent sketch about them which featured on Saturday Night Live.
