M.I.A. has endorsed Donald Trump ahead of the 2024 US Presidential Election after former candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made official his support for the former President.
On Friday (August 23), Kennedy Jr. appeared at a Trump rally, coming out to Foo Fighters ˜My Hero “ a choice that the band emphatically did not consent to “ and told the crowd that Trump will make America healthy again .
Trump, in return, stated at a later rally that he will release all remaining documents pertaining to the assassination of John F Kennedy if he is elected in November, per The Guardian.
M.I.A. quote-tweeted a livestream of the rally with Kennedy Jr. and shared her official endorsement of Trump, despite criticising him and his administration in 2017 for having mental disorders and, just last month, tweeting in bewilderment over the assassination attempt against Trump. “How do you miss all those shots fired?” she wrote then.

Over the past few years, M.I.A. has received backlash for her controversial statements “ from comparing InfoWars host Alex Jones s falsehoods about the Sandy Hook shooting to celebrities pushing COVID-19 vaccines and suggesting the latter, too, should pay for lying . She then clarified her stance on COVID vaccines, saying she s not really an anti-vaxxer.
In June, M.I.A. launched Ohmni, her own clothing brand that features a tin foil hat which claims to block 5G waves from entering one s body.
Ohmni offers items such as Protency boxers which claim to block electromagnetic frequencies and boost fertility as well as a tin foil hat which allegedly deflects electromagnetic waves such as Wi-Fi & 5G with up to 99.999% shielding effectiveness.
M.I.A. talked about the clothing line while appearing as a guest on Infowars. While there, she explained that the clothing line is designed to protect wearers from nanoparticles and discussed a scrapped album, her supposed anti-vaxx views, and being cancelled during her appearance on Jones show.
