You'd expect a comic book series headlined by Keanu Reeves to be pretty chill, but in the case of BRZRKR, you'd be very wrong. Created by Reeves, Matt Kindt, and Ron Garney, BRZRKR tells the story of B, an immortal warrior with a death wish who has been cursed to fight in a war with no end. If you're interested in checking out BRZRKR, a Deluxe Limited Edition hardcover collecting the first 12 issues released last month.

The 400-page hardcover collection includes the entire run of BRZRKR so far. The story follows B--who bears a striking resemblance to Reeves on a high-protein diet--throwing himself into suicide missions on behalf of the US government. As you'd expect, the art gets incredibly gory, and Garney's illustrations hold nothing back as B gets stabbed, shot, burned, and blown up in each mission. Self-preservation is for mortals, after all.
