Xbox Series X|S owners can save on both officially licensed expansion cards at Amazon for Prime Big Deal Days. The Seagate 2TB Xbox Expansion Card is on sale for only $199, saving you $50 off its list price of $250. Amazon has a countdown clock on this deal, as it is set to expire tonight, October 9, at 11:59 PM PT. The WD Black C50 Expansion Card deals--$65 for 512GB or $120 for 1TB--don't have the countdown clock, but we wouldn't necessarily count on them sticking around. The Seagate 2TB drive offers the best value here, but Western Digital's smaller capacity drives are considerably cheaper (unsurprisingly).

Seagate 2TB for $199 | WD C50 512GB - $65 / 1TB - $120
Seagate's 2TB Expansion Card has never been available for this low of a price at Amazon. In fact, this particular model launched alongside the Series X|S with an eye-watering $400 price tag. Last year, right around the time Western Digital's C50 released, Seagate dropped the prices of its 1TB and 2TB cards. The 2TB model fell all the way down to $280 and has since received another price cut to its current $250 MSRP.
Amazon's deal lets you get the 2TB card for half the price Xbox owners paid during its first couple of years on the market. Seagate's 1TB Expansion Card is available for $130 (was $150), but if you're opting for a smaller capacity, you might as well go with the cheaper option.
The WD Black C50 1TB model is available for about 20% off, lowering the price from $150 to $120.64. This is pretty close to Amazon's all-time best price for the 1TB configuration. The 512GB model, meanwhile, is available for $65.54, down from $80.
You can run out of space on your Xbox Series X|S surprisingly fast. The Series X has 802GB of usable space, while the base model Series S clocks in at 364GB. Modern AAA games eat up space quickly, and if you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, deleting games to make room for new ones can become the norm.
