We're three weeks away from Joker: Folie à Deux and the romance between DC's favorite psychopaths is finally highlighted in a brand-new clip. In an exclusive clip from Entertainment Weekly, Lady Gaga's Harleen "Lee" Quinzel (Harley Quinn) passionately kisses Joaquin Phoenix's Arthur Fleck/Joker and tells him how he's inspiring the world on the outside of his jail cell.
"I'm so f---ing proud of you. You should see it out there," she says. "They're all going crazy for you. You did it." Harleen pauses before telling him how powerful and inspirational he is. "You can do anything you want. You're Joker."
Arthur responds by joking he should read "a law book or something", then mockingly holding his tie like a noose, as he seemingly knows his fate from the murder trial.
