The story behind this retro pack is that it was originally an overseas exclusive, as it featured a collection of vintage cards from the earliest days of the game and was made to catch up other countries to the US card pool. The exact cards were hard to find in the US--unless you wanted to pay an obscene amount for them on the reseller market--and this set goes an extra retro-step further by including the original card frames, illustrations, names, and texts.
