Warner Bros. and Roblox are teaming up to allow users to buy tickets to the upcoming Beetlejuice Beetlejuice film from inside the game. Users can play a new Roblox experience, Escape the Afterlife, where they van visit a virtual Fandango box office and can buy tickets to the film.
This is the first time Roblox users have been able to buy tickets to a film from within the platform. In a press release, Roblox said this is part of the company's efforts to increase Roblox's commerce opportunities. Users need to be at least 13 years old to buy a ticket.
Escape the Afterlife was developed by Sawhorse and allows users to visit the scenes and meet with characters from Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Players need to escape ghouls and rescue characters.
