ComicBook.com said the clips appear to have been captured by someone recording from off-screen. The clips are said to have generated more than 100,000 views before they were removed. The videos are being reposted all over the internet, so anyone looking to avoid spoilers should be careful out there.
In 2022, the Season 1 finale of House of the Dragon leaked online, with HBO saying the "unlawful" leak came from a distribution partner. Before this, a Season 7 episode of Game of Thrones from 2017 was uploaded to torrent websites.
