The North Face Purple Label is passionate about sustainability and proves it to be more than a trendy buzzword by putting sustainable solutions into practice on the regular. The outfitter has perfected the art of tastefully recycling its pre-loved outerwear silhouettes, having already two fully upcycled capsule collections under its belt
Now, The North Face Purple Label is presenting its third completely upcycled collection in partnership with nanamica, which consists of a lineup of new layered jackets built from leftover fabrics from both contributors.
"Rather than adopting a uniform approach of using recycled fabrics or environmentally conscious materials, this project aims to achieve zero fashion waste by producing products that eliminate material waste and create added value," the brands explained of their shared vision.
The RP Field Reversible Jacket boasts all the features of a classic work jacket – one side, that is. The khaki-colored side features classic pocketing and snap closure down the middle. A Sherpa collar pokes out of the top, giving way to the other side of the jacket, which is a fully Sherpa fleece with similarly tactical pocketing.
