Update: December is here and 'tis the season for the holidays, which brands are continuing to embrace post-Black Friday. For Ja Morant and Nike Basketball, the duo prepared his Ja 2 in a "Christmas" colorway that we first previewed in August. Now, the tree topper-themed sneaker has been unveiled in its entirety ahead of its release later this month. As described in our previous coverage below, the shoe sports a white and gold color scheme while nodding to Christmas trees with its etched upper, remixed Ja logo at the tongue and golden Christmas tree hangtag. Release is set to take place on December 19 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $130 USD.

The upcoming holiday-themed sneaker first revealed by Instagram account @prm.cotd, is ready to spread the Christmas joy with new sleek, light silver and iron grey color scheme. Taking design notes for an elevated and snazzy winter wonderland, the shoe features snowflake details as its pattern on the upper and a Christmas tree tag that adds to the festive elegance. The Swoosh is in a contrasting gold hue as it sits atop a clean, white midsole and a translucent icy outsole with specks of gold for the luxurious winter theme.
