The final Gladiator II trailer has officially arrived in anticipation for the premiere on November 22.
Legendary director Ridley Scott leads Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz, Derek Jacobi, Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington to battle in this continued epic saga of power, intrigue and vengeance set in Ancient Rome. In the official synopsis of the film, it reads, "Years after witnessing the death of the revered hero Maximus at the hands of his uncle, Lucius (Paul Mescal) is forced to enter the Colosseum after his home is conquered by the tyrannical Emperors who now lead Rome with an iron fist. With rage in his heart and the future of the Empire at stake, Lucius must look to his past to find strength and honor to return the glory of Rome to its people."
This final trailer gives fans a glimpse of the action sequences that is expected to underline the film. With major large-scale battles, the latest epic from Scott sees footage of fights taking place inside the coliseum with animals like rhinos. Taking action stunts to a new level, Mescal's character can be seen fending off opponents in the final trailer. The film premieres in the United States on November 22.
