In celebrating its 20th anniversary, Greubel Forsey has lifted the curtains to its 10th “Fundamental Invention,” introducing a Nano Foudroyante EWT — a timepiece spotlighting a revolutionized mechanism, merging the word’s first perpetual Nano Foudroyante with the Maison’s first manual-winding flyback and flying tourbillon.
Measuring 37.9mm in diameter, the new timepiece comes in a white gold case with a tantalum bezel. Its dial boasts a multi-leveled gold construction and a rhodium-colored finish, topped with black lacquered hour-ring and minute circle, complete with a visual opening for the tourbillon and the seconde foudroyante (lightning seconds).
Geared with a one-day power reserve, the caseback offers an unobstructed view of its intricately-crafted innerworkings. Limited to 11 examples, the Nano Foudroyante EWT is priced at 465,000 CHF ( approx. $538,132 USD). For more information, head over to Greubel Forsey’s official website.
