“My husband has played in the NFL for seven years and if he played this year, that would make it year eight,” she explained of her husband’s football career in a May 2024 TikTok video. “But is he retiring? Because he’s not currently on a team. If he gets a call, am I going to have to move again? I’m not even unpacked in this place yet.” (Rochell was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2017 and went on to play for the Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders.)

Kuch’s sister, , was also in a prominent relationship with a football star. She ended her eight-year relationship with Baltimore Ravens offensive tackle the day of their 2022 Hawaii nuptials.

“There was a lot of me that was like, ‘Did I really just do that? Is this for good?” Emily recalled on an October 2024 episode of Kuch’s “Sunday Sports Club” podcast. “In the moment, I was kind of just like, ‘Did I make the right decision?’ … I’m like, ‘S—, what is going on?’”

While Kuch’s parents don’t post as frequently on social media as her, John and Sally have shared a handful of family photos online over the years. “Throw back to the last kid having a Juli Stanley lei! Each means so much,” Sally captioned a June 2021 Instagram pic of all three of her kids at a school graduation ceremony.

Sally joined Kuch in a May 2024 Mother’s Day ad for DoorDash, during which Sally praised her daughter’s social media career. “I’m super proud of you because your content, I think is — if I had a 13 or a 12-year-old daughter, you would be content I would allow them to watch,’ she gushed before also calling Kuch “funny.”

John, meanwhile, appeared in a July 2023 TikTok video of Kuch telling her family she was pregnant. “You’re officially a grandpa,” she told her dad, who hugged her and wiped tears from his eyes.

Emily made headlines in October 2024 for discussing her decision to call off her and Stanley’s wedding the day of on Kuch’s podcast. The pair began dating in 2013 and were set to say “I do” one year after their 2021 engagement.

“There’s a lot of things I had to learn after leaving that long of a relationship … I didn’t really know how to be my own person,” Emily, who is a San Diego-based digital creator, explained. “We started dating really young, so I was like, ‘Who am I even by myself?'”

Emily left Hawaii shortly after calling off her wedding but said it was “devastating” to see photos and videos of Stanley enjoying what would have been their wedding reception. She later moved in with Kuch while working out her next steps.

“I started to try to view this as, like, ‘How could I use this experience to be a better person, a better partner for my next partner?’ You have to spend a lot of time with yourself. You have to date yourself. You have to love yourself,” she explained. “Where do you want to go on a date? Take yourself there. … Nobody can take that [self-love] away from you.”

Kuch met her husband while attending the University of Notre Dame, where he played college football. They went Instagram official less than one year after they began dating in 2014. Kuch continued her studies at the school after Rochell was drafted by the Chargers in 2017 but later joined him in L.A. Rochell popped the question in 2020, and the pair tied the knot one year later.

Rochell was released by the Raiders just weeks before Kuch gave birth to their daughter in 2023. He has since enjoyed his role as a “stay-at-home husband,” even releasing merch with the word “homemaker” on it in response to Kansas City Chiefs kicker ’s controversial May 2024 graduation speech. (Butker faced backlash for implying women should be more excited about becoming wives and mothers than pursuing their career while giving a commencement speech at Benedictine College.)

Kuch gave birth to her and Rochell’s first child, daughter Scottie Bee, in December 2023. “I don’t even know how to feel, but I’m excited, that’s all I have,” Rochell stated in the pair’s baby announcement TikTok video. Kuch replied, “I love you so much.”

Though the couple have shared glimpses at their baby girl via social media, Kuch has opened up about the importance of keeping their daughter’s life off of the internet. “I think parenting is one of the most controversial things, whether they’re sleeping in a bassinet or in their room or formula-fed or breastfed,” she told E! News in May 2024. “There’s such an opinion on everything. And we both want to keep our daughter safe from, not only the judgment of other people, but also the weird people in the world.”
