The Nike Calm falls firmly in that sweet spot of leisure footwear. Having debuted in 2023, the Swoosh has crafted its go-to slides in a suite of colorways, including a "Rose Whisper" and an icy "Never Give Up" iteration, as well as a flip flop and fuzzy mule option.
Nike is keeping things relatively simple for fall 2024, releasing the "Black Gum" palette to its rolodex of Calm slides. Staying true to the original, the forthcoming option is crafted with an all black foam upper with a ribbed footbed for traction and comfort. Additional highlights include subtle Nike branding debossed into the upper, all atop a brown gum outsole.
