Marc Jacobs' 40th-anniversary collaborations have been nothing short of bangers. The prolific American designer has already joined forces with the likes of NIGO, Cactus Plant Flea Market, Stephen Sprouse and Anna Sui to reshape, revive and replenish his label's most-coveted pieces, and he still has plans to release special-edition designs with the likes of Pharrell, Tremaine Emory, Sofia Coppola, Takashi Murakami and more to celebrate the occasion.

Today, the fashioner has unveiled a new collaboration with artist Futura, with whom Jacobs first partnered on a 2022 activation benefitting Free Arts NYC, an organization dedicated to empowering youth in underserved communities. Together, the duo has created a special-edition capsule with reimaginations of Jacobs' signatures — The Tote Bag, The Snapshot, unisex denim, hoodies, sweaters, T-shirts and jewelry — all decorated with and modeled after Futura's famed artistry.

The statement-packed collection comes with a fame-filled campaign, which stars J Balvin, Paloma Elsesser and Futura himself. Shot by Renell Medrano and styled by Milton Dixon III, the sartorial delivery sees the three stars posing among Futura's sculptures and graffiti graphics reading "Marc Jacobs."

The Futura x Marc Jacobs collection, which officially launches on September 6, is the eighth drop in a year's worth of collaborations with friends and partners for Jacobs' 40th anniversary. The brand will launch dedicated pop-ups across New York, London, Beijing and Japan for the capsule, in tandem with the opening of the largest exhibition of Futura's work, FUTURA 2000: BREAKING OUT, at The Bronx Museum on September 8.
