Carhartt WIP is gearing up for the dropping temperatures in its newest seasonal release. Displayed in a lookbook captured by seasoned brand collaborator Paul Mérelle, the new collection is contextualized on the streets of New York City, creating a captivating juxtaposition of clean, cool-toned garments – technical vests, jackets and knitwear included – against the urban backdrop.
The outfitter offers up a slew of varsity-inspired styles, including the Brown Ducks Bomber Jacket, which features a felt fabric body fully adorned in chenille patches; the jacket's sleeves are crafted from artificial leather sleeves. Carhartt reps the Brown Ducks on a knit sweater and cardigan as well, with each of the knitwear pieces doused in embroidered patches throughout. Collegiate themes resurface elsewhere, evident in a brown-hued tracksuit jacket and retro college crewneck.

With craftsmanship at the crux of all of its presentations, Carhartt relies on corduroy to create a slew of the pieces in its initial Fall/Winter drop, apparent in The Whitsome Shirt Jacket and Landon Pant, which both land in cotton corduroy in shades of neutral gray.
