Cristiano Ronaldo recently launched his own YouTube channel, "UR Cristiano.". The Portugese football player has already uploaded 19 videos to his channel, bringing fans and audiences into his life via online content.
Posting to Instagram to announce the YouTube channel earlier this week, Ronaldo wrote, "The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey." An immediate hit amongst his fans, his channel quickly became the fastest channel to hit one million subscribers. As of writing, which is just a couple days after his launch, Cristiano already has 29.4 million subscribers on YouTube and growing. YouTube acknowledged the great feat by sending over a gold "play button" plaque, given to those who surpass one million subscribers on YouTube.
Within 90 minutes of launching, the Al Nassr player had broken the world record for becoming the fastest channel to hit the one million mark. Later Ronaldo posted to his Instagram another video of his children playing with the gold plaque, "A present for my family ❤️ Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!" Breaking records on and off the pitch, Ronaldo recently surpassed eight-time Ballon d'Or winner and Argentina captain Lionel Messi's subscriber count of 2.31 million. As far as his social media presence goes, Ronaldo has 170 million followers on Facebook, 112.6 million on X and 636 million on Instagram.
