After delivering a fresh batch of Re-Optimum goods earlier this summer, minimalist outdoor label Goldwin has returned with a Fall/Winter 2024 collection galvanized by the nature, culture and daily life of people in Japan.
The purpose-driven label's functional outerwear leads this season's wares. Among them, the PERTEX UNLIMITED 2L jacket boasts a cotton-like texture with a water-resistant, two-layer fabric that is both windproof and moisture-permeable, while the GORE-TEX Connector Jacket employs a highly waterproof build with GORE-TEX materials in 70 denier thickness. The PERTEX SHILEDAIR Oversized Shirt, meanwhile, protects its wearer with high moisture-permeation and split raglan sleeves for breathability in warmer environments. All of the aforementioned silhouettes come in an array of muted, nature-inspired tones.
Down the line, the Wool Blend Twill 2B Jacket is Goldwin's take on the formal blazer, made with a textile that fuses the traits of wool and polyester to prioritize heat retention and odor resistance. Cargo pants, made with the same material, contrast the buttoned-up coat with a relaxed straight silhouette featuring an adjustable drawcord and elastic waist. Elsewhere, pullovers, cardigans, hoodies, hiking shirts, mountaineering pants and everyday trousers fill in Goldwin's modern wardrobe — one that intends to fit into your daily life with notes of Japanese craftsmanship.
