Bulova is back with a new limited-edition Chairman of the Board wristwatch, the latest addition to its Frank Sinatra Collection.
Modeled after Bulova’s 1939 President watch, the new timepiece faithfully captures the originals’ art deco aesthetic and vintage appeal but reimagined with modern elegance. Outfitted in a rectangular, 18k gold-plated case with a sleek black dial. The indices and hands also boast a warm, golden hue that echoes the color of the crown and watch case. Meanwhile, the 12 o’clock indice is replaced with a motif of Sinatra’s iconic fedora hat.
The beating heart of this elegant reference is a Swiss automatic movement geared with 42 hours of power reserve. The movement is viewable through the watch’s partially open caseback, with Sinatra family crest insignia imprinted on the sapphire crystal. Completing the timepiece is a brown calf leather strap that adds to its retro aesthetic.
Releasing in a limited run of 5,000 examples, the Frank Sinatra Chairman of the Board timepiece is currently available for purchase through Bulova’s webstore, priced at $1,950 USD.
