Streetwear-influenced Eastside Golf is linking up with another sportswear outfitter. Hailing from the basketball sector, Mitchell & Ness is joining forces with the golf outfitter to serve up a capsule of apparel and accessories including ball markers and driver head covers.
"Our mission is to use fashion to change the cultural conversation around the game and introduce golf to new audiences," Eastside Golf's creative director Olajuwon Ajanaku – a die-hard basketball fan named after Hakeem Olajuwon himself – noted in a statement.
"Mitchell & Ness’ storied history and loyal fan base – from rappers wearing it in music videos to kids like me wearing their pieces to class in high school makes it the perfect brand to partner with to connect the lifestyle elements of basketball and golf."

A nylon quarter-zip pullover jacket leads the range, drenched in a blue shade and accented with white accents and a co-branded insignia stamped on the back. Other apparel includes polo shirts, shooting shirts, both mesh and nylon shorts, an all-black basketball jersey and a lineup of graphic tees. Rounding out the capsule comes a co-branded delivery of ball markers and driver's head covers.
