Drake and 21 Savage's 'Her Loss' Reportedly Submitted for 2024 GRAMMY Awards

Her Loss, the collaborative album from Drake and 21 Savage, has reportedly been submitted for consideration for the 2024 GRAMMY Awards.

According to sources, the November 2022 record was submitted for the Album of the Year and Best Rap Album categories while the tracks "Rich Flex" and "Spin Bout U" were submitted for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance. The Hollywood Reporter adds that it is unclear who or which party submitted the album and songs for consideration.

Drake has been vocal about his criticisms of the annual awards ceremony and publicly blasted the GRAMMYs for failing to consider The Weeknd's After Hours for any nominations in 2020. “I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after," he penned on social media. His boycott continued over the next two years, submitting Certified Lover Boy for only one major category then withdrawing all his nominations for the 2022 awards. He and The Weeknd also refused to submit solo music for this year's ceremony.

Elsewhere in music, Westside Gunn confirmed that AND THEN YOU PRAY FOR ME will be his final studio album.
