Coimbra, Portugal - From January 15th to February 15th, the International Surrealism Now exhibition will be on display, organized by the ADFP Foundation and whose mentor is the Portuguese artist Santiago Ribeiro, who has been traveling with his art to numerous corners of the world, International Surrealism Now began in 2010 organized by the Bissaya Barreto Foundation and now features 126 artists from 52 countries.
The facilities where the event will be held are at the Conimbriga Hotel do Paço, whose building origins date back to the 14th century. Here, kings and distinguished members of the European nobility slept. Destroyed in the French invasions, it was rebuilt at the beginning of the 20th century. XX. In 1993, it became Pousada de Portugal and, since 2019, it has been a charming 4-star hotel.

The main objective is social solidarity, contributing to the training of people with disabilities and mentally ill people, supporting chronically ill people, children, young people, pregnant women or women with children, victims of abuse, refugees, homeless people and the elderly. Invests in people through the creation and innovation of social responses, oriented towards intergenerational coexistence, the integration of people with disabilities, mental illness or ethnic minorities, and the promotion of sustained local development.

It is a civic Foundation, born from the free initiative of citizens. It was not created by a benefactor, donor, company or state. The corporate bodies, from the Board of Directors to the Strategic Council, are performed on an unpaid volunteer basis.

It is a community Foundation: it is committed to sustainable development through social cohesion in its territory of influence. We innovate to create jobs, increase revenue and defend civilizing values.

It is a Philanthropic Foundation, which promotes love, well-being and happiness, favoring the creation of cultural, recreational and sporting organizations.
