A man knifed his wife to death during a Bible study session and had to be pried away from her by his own family members.

Robert Castillo, 41, has been sentenced to 33 1/2 years behind bars in the stabbing death of Corinna Woodhull, whom he was married to for about two years and had five children with.

Castillo whispered something into Woodhull’s ear as they sat on a couch in March 2023 and she replied, ‘No,’ according to his sister, who was hosting the session at her home.

The husband then took out a hunting knife and stabbed Woodhull numerous times until family members stopped him, his sister told cops.

Multiple people were holding Castillo down in the ‘chaotic scene’ as cops arrived at the St Paul, Minnesota, home and arrested him, CBS News reported.

Woodhull was pronounced dead at a hospital.

‘Corrina had a fire for the Lord that was unmatched. She was beautiful inside and out,’ wrote her friend, Erin Meszaros, in a GoFundMe page.

‘I know she was welcomed home by the Lord with the words “Well done, good and faithful servant!”‘

The couple’s kids are aged 11 to 24.

‘Corrina was an advocate for those in recovery, she had a passion to help others experiencing substance use disorder and domestic abuse and violence. She loved her children so much,’ wrote Meszaros

‘You would find Corrina most days helping at church, volunteering at Non-profits…

The GoFundMe page had raised more than $11,000 as of Monday evening.
