This is the cringing moment a rioter in Southport is hit right in the privates by a rogue brick launched at police.

Footage shows the man dressed in an all grey tracksuit flamboyantly wiggling his hips in front of officers holding riot shields.

But a brick launched from the rioters hits him straight in the back of head in the head by a flying brick.

Another rebounds off the officer’s shields directly onto his chest, leaving him seemingly stunned as he begins to stagger away.

But it only gets worse for the rioter, as he walks away clutching his head in pain another brick lands straight in his groin area.

His fellow rioters cry out in sympathy pain as the man bends over clutching his privates, with one heard shouting: ‘F***ing hell boys.’

Another man walks over to him and helps lead him away as other rioters continue to launch objects at officers.

Dozens of police officers were injured in the riots after the far-right English Defence League hijacked a vigil for the three young girls stabbed at a Taylor Swift dance class.

Bebe King, six, Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, and nine-year-old Alice Dasilva Aguiar were all killed as they attended the dance club in Hart Street on Monday.

Eight other children suffered stab wounds and five are in a critical condition, alongside two adults who were critically injured, police said.

Now a grieving community has been left to clean up the mess left by the rioters outside Southport mosque.

Locals can be pictured with brushes and shovels as they condemn the violence caused by the ‘hooligans’.

Norman Wallis, chief executive of Southport Pleasureland, who was helping at the junction of Sussex Road and St Luke’s Road, said: ‘It’s horrendous what those hooligans have done last night.

‘It was like a war scene. People from out of town just causing absolute mayhem.

‘But none of those people were the people of Southport. The people of Southport are the ones here today cleaning the mess up.’
