Emmerdale has hinted at a shocking twist for one of its residents, with Kim Tate set to be taken aback. Recently in the Dales, Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) reignited his relationship with Kim Tate (Claire King), much to viewers' surprise.

Fans will remember that Will had an affair on Kim earlier this year and was subsequently blackmailed. The blackmailer tormented Will, even staging a scene to make it appear as though Kim had been killed.

However, it was later unveiled that Kim was the mastermind behind everything after discovering his betrayal. Kim and Will then engaged in a bitter feud, with Kim determined not to let him get his hands on her wealth.

She also enlisted the help of financial advisor Peter, with whom she had a fling. However, Kim recently decided to end her dispute with Will and halt their divorce proceedings, realising she still harboured feelings for him.

Will seemed to reciprocate these feelings, and the two quickly rekindled their romance, planning to renew their vows on Christmas Day. But things took a dramatic turn when it was revealed that Peter and Will have been conspiring for months to bring down Kim, reports Leeds Live.

Moreover, Peter isn't acting alone - he's collaborating with an unknown individual who is out to destroy Kim's life. So far, little information has been provided about this mysterious person, other than that they are supposedly male and currently overseas.

Even Will is in the dark about their identity, as he was shocked to discover someone else was involved in his and Peter's scheme.

In a chilling twist, Emmerdale's Christmas Eve is set to be disrupted by a mysterious figure intent on causing havoc for Will and Kim as they prepare to renew their vows.

During the episode aired on December 18, tension escalated when Peter issued a dire warning to Will, hinting at a potentially fatal outcome if he doesn't comply with the plan: "This isn't someone you would want to get on the wrong side of. If you want to see in the New Year, you better stick to the plan."

Rumours are now swirling among fans that Kim might be the mastermind working with Peter, leading to speculation that Will could be killed off during the holiday season.

One fan speculated on an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, "Kim's the one pulling the strings and she will kill Will on Christmas 100%," Another agreed, saying, "Queen Kim can put him six feet under! " while a third added, "I do hope so as he's a horrible man. Came into the relationship with nothing, cheats on here then demands half of her money!".
