GMB's Ranvir Singh snaps 'let's not go there' after co-star's 'infidelity' probe

GMB: Ranvir Singh talks about her infidelity dream

During Thursday's episode of Good Morning Britain, Ranvir Singh issued a sharp warning to her colleague on-air. As she discussed the chilly weather upon waking up, Ed Balls quipped about Ranvir's poor night.

She shot back: "Don't, I can't, yes. I've been up since 1:47am. Let's not go there, I had a bad dream." Later in the programme, Sean Fletcher reported that usage of dating apps has seen a downward trend.

He said: "I don't know why I'm looking at you while I'm saying this because, of course, you're not potential customers!" The presenters shared anecdotes on how they met their significant others, prompting Ed Balls to dig for details from Ranvir.

The GMB star asked: "Are you sharing more about your dream yet?". Caught off guard, Ranvir admitted her sleep was disturbed quite early on, reports the Mirror.

She exclaimed: "I've been up since 1:47am! Which relates slightly to this, doesn't it? Listen, we've all been there where you have that dream of a kind of infidelity, which isn't real, obviously."

When asked if she dreamt about engaging in an affair herself, she swiftly refuted it, revealing: "The other way around! I woke up grumpy at 1:47, and clearly, nothing has happened.

"But, we've all had that moment, haven't we, haven't we? Am I alone?" After Sean acknowledged his own similar experience, he added that his wife had once woken up feeling cross with him due to a dream.

Ed chimed in: "I think this is totally right. I mean, I have had those dreams before, and I wake up, and I'm really annoyed! I say, 'How can you do that?' and she says, 'I didn't do it, it was in your dream'.

Ranvir, laughing, agreed that such dreams are stressful, confessing they were still bothering her during their morning meeting.

The topic of infidelity in dreams seemed to persist as they interviewed Line of Duty star Vicky McClure.Ed queried the actress, who was on the show with her husband, Jonny Owen, if either of them had ever woken up angry due to a dream.

Vicky confessed: "Absolutely! Yeah, then I'll be awake and in my head, that's happened, now I'm cross with you in real life!"

However, Ranvir appeared fed up with discussing her dream, interjecting: "Now listen, can we talk about something else?!"

In the course of their conversation, Ranvir asked if fans could anticipate a Line of Duty comeback after she recently posted a video with her co-stars.

She remarked, "I've said a million times, as have Martin and Adrian, we all love the show, and we love how much people love it. We're in a very lucky spot with that. But, until Jed and we all say something is happening, nothing is happening."

Good Morning Britian continues weekdays on ITV from 6am.
