I'm A Celeb: Danny Jones makes his debut on show

Danny Jones' wife, Georgie, has let the cat out of the bag, revealing that the McFly star's claims of having a snake phobia are completely fabricated.

Despite his convincing performance during Friday's High Street Of Horrors Bushtucker Trial, Georgie exposed his supposed fear as nonsense.

Speaking on the Never Have I Ever podcast, she confessed that Danny had lied to the show's producers about his phobia, employing a clever double bluff tactic. Georgie warned that as the hunger and fatigue set in, Danny will become increasingly difficult to handle.

She shared with host Hannah Cooper: "He's lied, and he said he's scared of snakes. Bulls***. World exclusive: bulls***. So, please vote for the tasks that don't involve snakes! He's not scared of snakes, but he said he is; that's a double bluff."

Georgie predicted that Danny's plan would backfire, leading to him being assigned tasks involving snakes, and joked that the show's producers have fallen for his charming persona.

She also cautioned that Danny's real challenge would be coping with hunger and exhaustion, saying: "The only problem with Danny is he's not great when he's hungry or tired, and he's going to be hungry and tired."

Georgie struggled to choose Danny's luxury items, admitting she didn't pick what he would have wanted for himself.

"This man has never fussed so much over the fact that he can't tape his mouth in the jungle. He tapes his mouth at night. He tapes his mouth. It's meant to have many, many health benefits... It's literally like a piece of gaffer tape. It's like a massive plaster of your lips."

Her comments follow accusations that Danny was "fooling" I'm a Celebrity viewers by pretending to like a divisive campmate.

Body language expert Judi James analysed the interaction between the McFly star and Barry McGuigan, mentioning that Danny and Barry are "potential leaders" in the camp.

When Danny tackled Barry, it showed "a powerful head-to-head in terms of hierarchy".

She noted that Barry and Danny had different attitudes towards Dean.

According to Ms James, despite showing some support, Danny has also been "masking some inner lack of patience" with Dean, who lost the camp half of the cupcakes Melvin Odoom won after bringing contraband tea into the jungle.

Discussing the tension on I'm A Celebrity, Ms James spoke to Paddy Power Games, remarking: "The most seismic rift came when Danny tackled Barry. It was a small moment but a powerful head-to-head in terms of hierarchy.

"These two men are both potential leaders in the camp, and Barry only had his leadership wings clipped thanks to his poor performance in the first two tasks."

"Barry's patience with Dean appeared thinner than that of most of the others. When the others sent Dean off for his Lethal Lab trial, Danny embraced Dean in a limpet hug, but Barry sat away from the group in an act of rejection.

"When Dean came back celebrating his four stars, Barry used his mug as an 'expression shield', appearing to hide his facial expression by sipping from it while the others pretended to celebrate."
